We met Stew when he was hosting an open house we decided to stop by and after chatting with him and learning about his knowledge with ADU’s we knew we found someone that would be the right fit for us. Stew was extraordinarily helpful throughout the entire process. My husband and I knew we wanted to find a home somewhere in an up and coming area in PDX. Stew offered to take us on a little “tour” of various Portland neighborhoods and homes on the market just so we could get a sense of what PDX areas might be the right match for us. We were happy taking our time finding a home but that day we ended up seeing the potential charm in a home in Kenton that we put an offer on. It was definitely a fixer upper but Stew saw the potential for an ADU and the desire to be in a neighborhood that had a lot of upcoming opportunity. Both which were very important to us when finding a home. We definitely had a few hiccups throughout the buying process on the side of the sellers. Throughout the process Stew stayed in constant communication and maintained being our advocate when we really needed it. We weren’t able to move into our home as anticipated due to some issues with the sellers and our rent back and Stew helped us store our furniture and appliances in his garage. This is just one example on how great of an agent and friend Stew really is. Since buying our home we have spent a lot of time fixing it up. Stew has remained a friend and we love having him come by for Brews to catch up and see our recent updates. It is no doubt that Stew will be our go to when we are ready to buy again.
